About Herbalism Today

Herbalism Today exists because it should have existed already.

There is no independent, practitioner-led global home for herbal medicine. No credible hub where qualified herbalists can find news, research, and each other, free from commercial influence, supplement brands, and wellness noise.

Herbalism Today is a free publication covering global herbal medicine news, in-depth herb profiles and a practitioner directory for qualified herbalists worldwide. It is written and curated by practitioners for practitioners, though anyone with a serious interest in plant medicine is welcome here.

It is editorially independent. Advertising and partnerships are carefully selected, and we allow only brands, schools and suppliers we would recommend to a colleague. Commercial relationships never influence editorial content.

Herbalism Today is founded by Suzann Elsahen MNIMH, who is a medical herbalist based in Milton Keynes, UK, trained at Heartwood Education and in clinical practice since qualification. This platform is entirely separate from her clinical practice, HerbWhisperer.
